UCF Modeling & Simulation Graduate Research

The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Graduate Program is closely affiliated with the UCF Institute for Simulation and Training (IST). As a result, many of our students participate in research projects with scientists and researchers at IST using state of the art equipment and facilities.

Sponsors that have supported student research include the Office of Naval Research, U.S. Army RDECOM, Florida Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Aviation Administration, Aptima, Inc..

The M&S program also has close ties to a number of graduate programs at UCF including Civil Environmental, and Construction EngineeringDigital Media; EducationElectrical Engineering and Computer ScienceIndustrial Engineering and Management SystemsMathematicsMechanical, Materials, and Aerospace EngineeringPsychology; and Statistics.

Faculty from both IST and UCF participate in supervising student thesis and dissertation topics.

We encourage interested students to explore the IST website, the IST affiliated research labs and the faculty pages to learn more about current research in the M&S program.
